we build custom homes, renovations + extensions in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, and we think we’re particularly good at it.
summary of services
We love working on a variety of new homes, renovations and extension projects.
Where required, our building and project management services cover all design, permit and construction stages, ensuring we support you through every stage of your new home.
We typically build new homes, renovations and extensions in the inner, eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne as well as the Mornington Peninsula.
design stages
We are here to engage with our clients and the design team throughout the entire project life cycle and to contribute our construction expertise to all stages of a project. A team that works closely with each other and with our clients is incredibly valuable to us as builders.
During the design stages, we manage, supervise and perform site inspections to confirm existing conditions and to determine how they impact the design documents. We also review all of the design documents at each stage and as new revisions are prepared – providing the client and design team with feedback as early as possible to reduce the need for extensive redesigns during design development or changes after a construction contract is signed.
The outcomes of our site inspections and documentation reviews are referenced by our clients and design team during the design stages, and may influence the design as it is developed.
permit stages
The requirement to apply for design and construction related permits from council and authorities is unique to each new home, renovation or extension that we build. We are happy to apply for any council or authority permits that apply to the project, and to manage the applications as they progress at no extra charge – we simply pass on the permit fees incurred and manage the applications for you. Where possible, we will also negotiate with the relevant council or authority for an outcome that reduces the cost of any permit conditions imposed.
construction stages
Our greatest joy and challenge – bringing your new home to life. Each of our new home, renovation and extension projects is supported by a detailed, custom project programme. This programme is an ordered schedule of tasks, durations, dates and notes that allows us to forward plan, work efficiently, coordinate trades, keep track of specific details and to provide you with updates as work progresses.
We take real pride in our work, and really do try our best to make sure those little details that make your new home special and unique don’t get missed.

we have an idea of what we’d like to build. what’s the first step?
There’s no need to have any drawings or permits in place. Having an idea about the new home, renovation or extension you’d like to build is all that you need for us to have a quick chat on the phone. We’ll discuss your vision, general requirements, budget and arrange a time for a ‘hello’ meeting. We’ll also provide you with our introductory ‘hello’ brochure that details our process and what you can expect moving forward.
During our initial ‘hello’ meeting, we’ll discuss the high-level considerations of your project – including your budget, design and functional requirements, permit requirements and site considerations. We’ll also discuss the stages of our process and next steps that we support you through.

if we’re happy with your quote, when could you start and how long will it take?
We generally don’t have a long lead time for starting projects. As soon as a project is ready, we are ready. Every project however, is unique and will require us to obtain different permits before we start work on site. Likely permit requirements, application fees and durations will be discussed during our first ‘hello’ meeting and all other stages of your project.
We provide updates on the permits, negotiations and expected start dates as the applications progress.
